How to Store DLL Files in SharePoint

1. Log on to the SharePoint server using an administrator account.
2. Click 'Start', 'Programs', 'Microsoft Office Server', 'SharePoint 3.0 Central Administration'. This opens the SharePoint Central Administration console.
3. Click the 'Operations' tab.
4. Click the 'Blocked Files Types' link in the 'Security Configuration' area.
5. Select the web application in which you want DLL files to be allowed.
6. Scroll down the list of blocked file types until you reach 'DLL'.
7. Highlight 'DLL' and press the 'Delete' key on your keyboard.
8. Click 'OK' to save this setting.
9. Navigate to a document library in your web application and upload a DLL file.
