How to Repair IE With Commands


System File Checker
1. Go to 'Start,' then 'Run' and enter the command 'cmd.' Hit 'Enter' and wait for the command prompt box to open.
2. Type the command 'sfc /scannow' without the quotation marks and hit 'Enter.' Wait for the computer to start scanning the computer for errors.
3. Insert the Windows installation CD-ROM in the disc drive when you see a pop-up box that asks you to perform this task. The computer will automatically fix any corrupted files.
Reregister IE Files
4. Go to 'Start,' then 'Run' and enter 'cmd' without the quotation marks to open the command prompt.
5. Type these IE files exactly as they appear and hit 'Enter' after you type each DLL. This operation restores missing or damaged Registry files.regsvr32 softpub.dllregsvr32 wintrust.dllregsvr32 initpki.dllregsvr32 dssenh.dllregsvr32 rsaenh.dllregsvr32 gpkcsp.dllregsvr32 sccbase.dllregsvr32 slbcsp.dllregsvr32 cryptdlg.dll
6. Close all windows and reboot the computer to save changes.
