How to Get Rid of the Bear Search Toolbar

1. Click the Windows 'Start' button and select the 'Control Panel' option to launch the Control Panel.
2. Click the 'Programs and Features' option in the Control Panel interface.
3. Locate and highlight the 'BearShare Media Bar' option.
4. Click the 'Uninstall' button, or right-click the entry and select 'Uninstall' from the context menu. The BearShare Media Bar will then be uninstalled.
5. Reboot the computer.
6. Open Internet Explorer and click 'Tools,' then click 'Internet Options.'
7. Click the 'General' tab and delete the BearShare default home page URL in the text box.
8. Click the 'OK' button to save the settings. Close and reopen Internet Explorer. BearShare will be disabled and uninstalled.
