How to Delete an Undeletable DLL File
1. Restart the computer.
2. Enter Safe Mode during startup by tapping the 'F8' key on your keyboard.
3. Confirm on the black screen that you wish to enter Safe Mode. Press 'Enter' on keyboard to confirm.
4. Allow the computer to load. The Windows appearance will change in Safe Mode, but this is normal.
5. Navigate to the DLL file you wish to delete. Click on 'Start' and 'My Computer' or 'Computer to navigate through the system files and folders.
6. Right-click on the DLL file and select 'Properties.'
7. Un-check the buttons 'Read-only' and 'Hidden.' Click on 'Apply' to confirm your changes.
8. Click on 'OK' to close the display.
9. Right-click on the file and select 'Rename.'
10. Enter a new name for the file, something that you can remember, such as 'Tobedeleted.'
11. Click anywhere on the screen to confirm the new name change.
12. Right-click on the DLL file and select 'Delete.'
13. Confirm that you wish to delete the file.
14. Right-click on the 'Trash' or 'Recycle Bin' icon. Select 'Empty' to remove the file from your computer.
15. Restart the computer normally.
