How to Check for the Latest iTunes Update in Windows

1. Start the iTunes program on your computer. This should only take a second and then you will be ready to use the program.
2. Click the Help Menu. This is located at the top of the screen on the left, right next to the Advanced menu.
3. Scroll down and click where the menu reads Check for Update. It may take a moment before anything happens, depending on your Internet connection.
4. Click on the Update Now option if one appears. When your version of the program is the latest one that is available, a text box will appear on the screen and inform you of this.
5. Restart your iTunes program once the installation of your update is complete just to be sure that everything is set up properly.
