How to Update an HP PSC 1210V in Windows 7

1. Connect your HP 1210V to your computer through a USB cable. Connect the USB cable to the USB port on your computer and then connect the other end to the USB port on the back of the printer.
2. Click the 'Start' button and then click 'Search' from the menu that appears. Type 'Windows Update' into the search bar and press the 'Enter' button.
3. Click on the Windows Update icon from the search window that appears on the screen to launch the software.
4. Click the 'Check for updates' button on the left side of the menu and wait for the system to scan for updates. This should take about one minute. The computer will recognize the HP printer plugged into the system.
5. Click on the 'HP Printer Driver' icon in the menu and then click the 'Install Updates' option from the bottom of the screen. Wait for the computer to install the updates to the system. This should take about 45 seconds to complete.
6. Restart the computer if prompted.
