How to Change My WEP Key to WPA for Windows 7


1. Right-click on the Windows 'Start' button and click the 'Control Panel' option.
2. Click 'Network and Internet.'
3. Click 'Manage Wireless Networks.'
4. Right-click on the network to edit settings, and click 'Properties.'
5. Click the tab labeled 'Security.'
6. Click the 'Security Type' drop-down box and select the 'WPA' or 'WPA2' option.
7. Type the security key or passphrase for the WPA network into the input box.
8. Click 'OK.' The security type for your Windows 7 wireless configuration is changed.
