What Is the Vsutil.Dll Error?
Cause
The error is the result of a misplaced, misnamed or corrupted DLL file. The most common cause is that the Vsutil.Dll file has been erased or become corrupted, resulting in an error when ZoneAlarm attempts to access the DLL.
Dynamic Link Libraries
A DLL file is a set of computer instructions that multiple applications can access simultaneously. It allows programmers to repeat the same set of instructions without having to repeat the instructions in each individual application.
Solution
The easiest solution is to reinstall ZoneAlarm, which will result in the DLL file being replaced by the installer. After reinstalling, you can restart the uninstall process. A alternative fix to the Vsutil.Dll error is to download the Vsutil.Dll (see Resources) and place it in the corresponding folder. ZoneAlarm searches for Vsutil.Dll in the C:\Windows\system32\ folder.
