Screensaver Run.dll App Errors

Missing Entry
The error 'Error in desk.cpl Missing entry:Screensaver,@ScreenSaver' can appear when you right-click your desktop, select 'Personalization' and click 'Screen Saver' with your mouse. This problem is caused by one or more programs needed to run your screen saver not properly connecting to the 'Run.dll' file's utilities, thus causing your list of screensavers to not show up. Restart your computer to attempt to fix this problem. If the problem persists when you attempt to access your screensavers again, find your computer's last 'System Restore' point and select it so your computer can get back to a point where this error didn't exist.
Exception
The error 'RUNDLL: An exception occurred while trying to run shell32.dll, Control_runDLL desk.cpl@screensaver' can also present itself when you try to select a screensaver from your 'Display' or 'Personalization' tab. The problem will present itself regardless of how you try to access the screensavers, such as from your 'Control Panel' menu, or attempt a 'Sytem Restore.' The problem could be a recently installed program that either works with your screensavers or has access to them, such as a screensaver making application or virus software. Uninstall the screensaver application or add the application to the 'Exceptions' your software allows to fix this.
Too Many Applications
The error 'Run.dll as app has encountered a problem and needs to close' can occur before you can even access your list of screensavers and wallpapers. showing up after you enter your computer's 'Display.' This problem can be caused by too many programs attempting to access 'Run.dll' at the same time. Fix this problem by going to your computer's 'Start' menu, and typing in 'msconfig' to the 'Run' command to display the list of applications and processes that run with your computer when it starts up. Uncheck the ones that you do not use, and restart your computer to access your 'Display' again.
Missing Module
The error 'Error loading C:\PROGRA~1\UNINST~1.DLL The specified module could not be found.' can show up when you try to access your screen savers. The problem comes up when the uninstaller of another program, such as the one for 'MyWebSearch,' has either not finished uninstalling the application or is still somehow present in your computer's programs list. Its presence prevents 'Run.dll' applications, such as screensavers, from working. Go to your computer's 'Add/Remove Programs' tab and ensure the programs you recently uninstalled, in addition to their uninstallers, are no longer there to fix this problem.
