Description
Maxkernl.dll is a file that belongs to the Visioneer Scanner library. It's primarily used by the Nuance/ScanSoft PaperPort. The file is responsible for executing Visioneer scanners, hardware and components that use ScanSoft PaperPort. Without maxkernl.dll, a Visioneer scanner can't work because the file includes a code the Visioneer PaperPort program uses to run Paperport desktop.
