How to Set Up Shaw Email


Set up Shaw email in Outlook
1. Open Outlook, click on 'Tools,' click 'Email Accounts' and then click on 'Add a new email account.'
2. Click on the 'Next' button, click 'POP3,' click 'Next,' and then enter your Name and email address that are assigned to your account.
3. Type in your username for your email address (the part before the @) and then enter your password for your email account.
4. Type in your incoming and outgoing server names according to your location, as can be found on the list of Shaw server names.
5. Click on the 'Finish' button to complete the email address setup process.
Set up Shaw email in Thunderbird
6. Open Thunderbird, click 'Tools,' click 'Account Settings,' click 'Add Account' and then click on 'Email account.'
7. Type your name into the 'Your Name' field, enter your email address into the 'Email Address' field and then click the 'Next' button.
8. Click on the 'POP' option and type in your incoming server address according to your location, as can be found on the list of Shaw server names.
9. Click on the 'Next' button, type in your email address username, click 'Next' and then click on the 'Finish' button.
10. Click on 'Outgoing Server (SMTP),' enter the outgoing server address according to your location, uncheck the 'Use name and password' box and then click on the 'OK' button to finish the email setup process.
