How to Restore Your Computer With Windows Vista

1. Click on the 'Start' button.
2. Select the 'All Programs' menu option.
3. Click on the 'Accessories' menu item.
4. Select the 'System Tools' item when the next menu appears.
5. Click on the icon that says 'System Restore.' A new window will open. Click 'Continue' in this window.
6. Click on the radio button next to 'Choose a Restore Point' and select 'Next.' A new window will appear that includes a list of restore points. Each restore point on the list includes information about the date and time of the point to which you can restore your computer. The list also includes an action that occurred at each restore point, such as 'installed system updates,' or 'installed new software.'
7. Choose the time and date that you want Vista to restore the system to by clicking on one of items in the list. Click 'Next.'
8. Select 'Finish.' When the confirmation screen appears and asks you whether you are sure you want to continue, select 'Yes.' Vista will then restore the computer to its previous state.
