How to Remove Windows XP Security Center Manually

End System Processes
1. Press the 'Ctrl,' 'Shift' and 'Esc' keys at the same time to start the Task Manager.
2. Click the 'Processes' tab in the Task Manager's window and select 'XPSecurityCenter.exe.'
3. Close the Task Manager.
Remove Registry Entries
4. Go to the 'Start' menu, type 'regedit' in the 'Start Search' box and press 'Enter' to start the Registry Editor.
5. Browse to and remove the following registry entry:Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\XP Security Center.exe
6. Click the 'Edit' menu option on top of the Registry Editor's window, click 'Find,' type '09D72564-27E2-4F12-8AB6-03F83E4567DE' in the search field and press 'Enter.' Delete all search results.
7. Repeat Step 3 for the following registry entries:741403DD-46A4-4D58-8FA7-427335C3BBF62B659BB5-3E85-4BC6-BAFC-98FEDFF3AE990EEDB911-C5FA-486F-8334-57288578C627F10587E9-0E47-4CBE-84AE-7DD20B8685CC
8. Close the Registry Editor.
Unregister DLLs
9. Go to the 'Start' menu, type 'cmd' in the 'Start Search' box and press 'Enter' to start the command line window.
10. Type 'regsvr32 /u mp3avi.dll' in the command line window and press 'Enter' to unregister the DLL.
11. Repeat Step 2 for 'XunLeiBHO_Now.dll,' 'alisj.dll,' 'VideoMP3.dll,' 'PowerVideo.dll,' 'sysdivx.dll' and 'windivx.dll.'
12. Close the command line window.
Find and Delete Files
13. Go to the 'Start' menu, type 'XP Security Center.exe' in the 'Start Search' box and press 'Enter.' Delete all search results.
14. Repeat Step 1 for 'mp3avi.dll,' 'XunLeiBHO_Now.dll,' 'alisj.dll,' 'VideoMP3.dll,' 'PowerVideo.dll,' 'XP Security Center.lnk,' 'sysdivx.dll' and 'windivx.dll.'
15. Restart your computer.
