How to Remove a Security Alert Virus

Delete Registry Keys
1. Click on the 'Start' menu and type 'regedit' into the 'Search Programs and Files' box and press 'Enter.' The Registry Editor opens.
2. Delete each of the following registry keys from the left pane of the Registry Editor:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Spyware Protect 2009
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\uninstall\Spyware Protect 2009
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Spyware Protect 2009
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run “sysguardn”
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AvScanTo delete a registry key, right-click on it and select 'Delete.' If you cannot locate a registry key, click 'Edit' and 'Find' and then type the registry key into the 'Find' box and click 'Find Next.'
3. Close the Registry Editor.
Delete Files
4. Click on the 'Start' menu and then click on the 'Search Programs and Files' box.
5. Type each of the following files into the 'Search Programs and Files' box and delete the matching file that appears in the Results list:“SpywareProtect2009.exe”

6. Restart your computer.
