How to Remove the Rundll32.exe Virus

1. Run Windows' Malware Removal Tool, a useful piece of software included on every Microsoft computer. Select the 'Start' menu in the desktop's lower-left corner, choose 'Run,' type 'MRT' and hit 'Enter.' If you encounter problems, download a replacement from Microsoft for free (see Resources section).
2. Click on the 'Next' button.
3. Click on 'Full Scan.' The Full Scan offers a greater chance than the Quick Scan of removing the Rundll32.exe virus.
4. Click on the 'Next' button to start the scan. It could take up to an hour.
5. Follow the steps that appear on screen to remove the Rundll32.exe virus.
6. Click on the 'Finish' button.
7. Restart your computer.
