How to Make a Custom Error Box
1. Click on 'Start' and 'Accessories.' Then click on 'Paint.'
2. Click on one of the shape tools at the top of the window and use it to draw the shape you desire for your custom error box. A simple rectangle that you can type a message in is the most common shape used.
3. Click on the 'Fill with color' tool at the top of the window. It looks like a bucket tipping over and spilling paint.
4. Select a color to fill your custom error box with by clicking on one of the color squares in the top-right corner. Then click inside your shape to fill your custom error box with that color.
5. Select another color that you want to type your error message with (usually simple black text is used), and click on the 'Text' tool at the top of the screen. It looks like the letter 'A' and is right next to the 'Fill with color' tool.
6. Click within your shape and type the error message that you want to appear within your custom error box. You can change the text settings like the size, position and font in the top-left corner of the program window.
7. Put any finishing touches you think you want on your custom error box and save it when you are finished. Press 'CTRL + S' and in the window that appears, type in a name for your custom error box. Then select where you want it to save, and click the 'Save' button.
