How to Make a Canon PowerShot G2 Work With Vista

1. Navigate to the Canon's official Powershot G2 homepage and select the 'Drivers & Software' tab.
2. Click the 'PSG2_Firmware-e.html' link.
3. Click the 'I Agree -- Begin Download' button.
4. Open the downloaded file once the download is complete.
5. Connect your Powershot G2 camera to your computer via USB when prompted to do so by the firmware upgrade software.
6. Wait several minutes while the software updates the firmware on your camera.
7. Click the 'Finish' button.
8. Disconnect the Powershot G2 from the computer.
9. Take a picture and reconnect the camera to computer to ensure it is working properly with Vista.
