How to Get Rid of the Genuine Windows Error Message

Disable WGA Message
1. Double click \'My Computer.\'
2. Navigate to C:\\WINDOWS\\System32.
3. Rename WgaLogon.dll to WgaLogon.old and rename WgaTray.exe to WgaTray.old.
4. Restart your computer.
Uninstalling WGA Validation
5. Open a command shell with a click on \'Start\' and then \'Run.\' Type \'cmd\' and click \'OK\'.
6. Type the following command and press \'Enter\':
Regsvr32 %Windir%\\system32\\LegitCheckControl.dll /u
7. Restart your computer.
8. Open a command shell again with a click on \'Start\' and then \'Run.\' Type \'cmd\' and click \'OK\'.
9. Type the following three commands, pressing \'Enter\' after each command:
Del %Windir%\\system32\\wgalogon.old
Del %Windir%\\system32\\WgaTray.old
Del %Windir%\\system32\\LegitCheckControl.dll
10. Type regedit. The Registry Editor opens.
11. Locate the following subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\WindowsNT\\ CurrentVersion\\Winlogon\\Notify\\WgaLogon. Right-click it and click \'Delete\'.
12. Locate the following subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows \\CurrentVersion\\Uninstall\\WgaNotify. Right-click it and click \'Delete\'.
13. Restart your computer.
