How to Fix Windows File Protection
1. Click 'Start' and type 'cmd' in the 'Search' box.
2. Right-click 'cmd' and press 'Run as administrator.'
3. Type 'secedit /configure /cfg C:\Windows\inf\defltbase.inf /db defltbase.sdb /verbose' at the DOS prompt.
4. Press 'Enter' to reset and repair file permission security settings.
