How to Fix the Horizontal Lines on My Computer

1. Access 'Control Panel' from the Start menu and then select 'Appearance and Themes.'
2. Choose 'Display' and then go to the Settings tab.
3. Click 'Troubleshoot' and follow the prompts to resolve the issue. If the problem is still not resolved, proceed to Step 4.
4. Go back to the 'Control Panel' and select 'Performance and Maintenance' and then 'System.'
5. Go to the Hardware tab and click 'Device Manager.'
6. Click 'Display Adapters' under the console tree and select your active monitor.
7. Go to the General tab of the malfunctioning hardware and select the 'Driver' tab. Click 'Update Driver.' Follow the prompts to update the driver to the latest one available. If the issue is not resolved, proceed to Step 8.
8. Follow Step 7, except click 'Rollback Driver' after selecting the 'General' tab. (Note: You may have to roll back the driver a couple of times to reverse Step 5.) If the issue is not resolved, proceed to Step 9.
9. Access the Windows Catalog and download a compatible driver. (Note: The link is provided in the Resources section.)
