How to Fix a File Permission Error While Saving a Word Document
1. Click the 'File' menu on the Word document that you want to save and then click 'Save As.'
2. Type the complete network path of the server where you want to save the file in the 'File Name' box and then press 'Enter.' For example, '\\server_name\share.' Replace 'server_name' with the name of the network server on which you want to save the Word file.
3. Type a name for the Word document that you want to save in the 'File Name' box and then press 'Enter.'
4. Click the 'Save As Type' drop-down box, choose 'Word Document' and then press 'Enter.'
