How to Enable Maximum Data Transfer Speed
1. Click “Start,” and then click “Control Panel.”
2. Double-click the “System” icon on the Control Panel window that opens.
3. Click “Device Manager” on the left pane of the System window.
4. Double-click “Network adapters” on the Device Manager window that opens.
5. Below "Network adapters," right-click the network adapter on which you want to enable maximum data transfer speed, and then click “Properties.”
6. Click “Advanced” tab on the properties dialog box that opens.
7. Select “Large Send Offload (IPv4)” below "Property" and then select “Enabled” from the "Value" drop-down menu.
8. Select “Large Send Offload (IPv6)” below "Property," and then select “Enabled” from the "Value" drop-down menu.
9. Click “Receive Buffers” below "Property," and then click the upward-pointing arrow in the "Value" box to increase the receive buffer value. Keep on clicking until the value does not increase any further.
10. Select “Transmit Buffers” below "Property," and then click the upward pointing arrow in the "Value" box to increase the transmit buffer value. Keep on clicking until the value does not increase any further.
11. Click the “OK” button.
