How to Delete or Update Explorer.Dll
1. Click 'Start' and open 'Computer.'
2. Navigate to the following folder directory:C >> Windows >> System32
3. Right-click 'explorer.dll' and select 'Delete.' Exit Windows Explorer. Open the Recycle Bin. Click the 'Empty the Recycle Bin' option.
4. Download and install the free edition of anti-virus applications, such as Trend Micro, BitDefender or PC Tools Antivirus.
5. Launch the application that you install. Scan the hard drive. The length of the scan will depends on the size of your hard drive.
6. Place a check next to the explorer.dll infections and all other infections once the results page appears. Select the remove or repair option. Reboot your system.
