How to Delete Chat History on MSN

Delete Chat History Logs
1. Click on 'Start' and then click on 'My Documents.' Look for 'Documents' if you are on Windows Vista or 7.
2. Double-click on the 'My Received Files.' You will see a list of MSN Messenger usernames. Only one username will be listed if no one else accesses MSN with your computer.
3. Double-click on the folder with the MSN Messenger username that you are using.
4. Double-click on the 'History' folder.
5. Right-click on the chat log you wish to delete. Chat logs will be saved using the username of the MSN Messenger individual you were chatting with.
6. Select 'Delete' from the menu.
7. Close out the window display.

8. Open up your MSN Messenger.
9. Click on the 'Tools' icon.
10. Click on the 'Options' tab.
11. Click on the 'Messages' tab.
12. Remove the check mark next to 'Automatically keep a history of my conversations.' Click on 'OK' to confirm your changes.
