How to Add an OCX to Access 2007


1. Double-click your Access database file on your computer. This opens the Access software and your database simultaneously.
2. Click the 'Create' tab at the top of your window. Click 'Macro,' then select 'Other' and click 'Macro' in this sub-menu. This opens a configuration window.
3. Click the 'Design' tab. In this tab, click 'Show All Actions.' Click 'RunCommand' to start the macro creation wizard.
4. Click 'RegisterActiveXControls' and select your OCX file. Cliick 'Save' to save your macro. To register and add the OCX file, click the 'Run' button in the 'Tools' tab.
