How Do You Disable a Double Tapping Touchpad on an Acer Laptop?

1. Click on the 'Start' button and select 'Control Panel.'
2. If you do not see all the 'Control Panel' icons in the pane to the right, look at the top of the left-side pane for 'Switch to Classic View' in Windows XP or 'Classic View' in Vista or Windows 7.
3. Double-click on 'Mouse' to open it and select 'Mouse Properties.'
4. Select 'Device Settings.'
5. Choose 'Settings.'
6. Select 'Tappings' and remove the check from the box for 'Enable Tapping.'
7. Choose 'File' then 'Exit' twice to close the Mouse and Control Panel boxes.
