How do I Troubleshoot a Dell P703W Printer?

1. Unplug your printer from its power source and plug it into another outlet to see if your wall's outlet might have caused issues.
2. Unplug your printer from its USB port and try using another one. That port might have blown out without any noticeable physical signs.
3. Try uninstalling and reinstalling your printer's software. Disconnect the printer before doing the entire procedure and connect it again after you finish installing the software again.
4. Remove your printer's ink cartridges and check for an orange plastic tab. If you see one, remove it. Your ink cartridges won't work with it.
5. Check the paper tray to see if you loaded paper properly. Since the P703W's paper tray sits below the printer, you must make sure that the paper reaches the rollers perfectly. Otherwise, you might end up with frequent jams or multiple pages feeding at the same time.
6. Try printing another image if the one you try to print doesn't show up in the queue at all. It might have been corrupted.
7. Open up your printer's panels to check for any paper jams. When you see such a jam, pull gently on the paper from the edges near the roller where the paper got jammed. Don't use too much force or else you might end up ripping the paper and leaving it jammed.
