Hidserv.Dll Svchost Problems


Problems
Error messages with code 126 and code 2 display when you try to use USB devices. Hotkeys or volume control keys may not work properly on USB keyboards. You may also have a USB device that Windows does not recognize as being connected to your computer.
Devices
Keyboards that connect with a USB cable, wireless devices such as Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 4000 and components used with Lifecam Cinema have had reported hidserv.dll and svchost errors. You can also encounter errors when using other devices such as a USB or wireless mouse, Web cameras and even some point-of-sale hardware.
Solutions
To correct these problems, try uninstalling and reinstalling the software related to the device; ensure the devices are connected and turned on prior to starting your computer or simply switch your device to a different USB port.
