Gdi32.dll Problems

Function
Gdi32.dll is a file that comes pre-installed with Windows operating systems. It's part of the Windows Graphics Device Interface (GDI), which is a system file responsible for improving the computer's graphical performance. The gdi32.dll file works with the Windows GDI to enable programs and applications to access graphics and text for printing or display.
Errors
Depending on the problem, gdi32.dll error messages, such as 'Gdi32.dll Not Found,' appear on the screen. These error messages suddenly appear when you're using or installing programs. They are especially common if the gdi32.dll file was accidentally deleted or damaged.
Solution
If you receive a gdi32.dll error when using a specific program, uninstalling and reinstalling a fresh copy of that program typically solves the problem. If the gdi32.dll is missing or damaged, reinstalling the program automatically reinstalls the file. If the problem persists when you launch other installed programs, insert the Windows CD into the CD/DVD drive and reboot your computer from the disc. When the boot options appear, select the repair option and follow the onscreen instructions to repair your operating system. Alternatively, use System Restore from the System Recovery options to solve the gdi32.dll problem. With System Restore, you can revert your computer to an earlier time period, before the problems began.
Warnings
Some websites offer gdi32.dll as a downloadable file. It can be difficult to determine if the downloads are legitimate files or not. You must be careful with some of these websites because the downloadable file may be malware. Reputable sites for a gdi32.dll download include dll-files.com and dll.downloadatoz.com. Malware, such as Trojans and viruses, are also known to damage .dll files and cause system problems. Run antivirus and anti-spyware programs to detect and delete potentially dangerous files.
