Error: Unable to Load Ltmsg.dll on 'Combat Arms'

Message Indication
The error message stating 'Unable to load Ltmsg.dll' indicates that the Ltmsg.dll file required for in-game communication no longer works correctly with the system. The message appears during the “HackShield” verification procedure when the game’s anti-cheating system verifies all of your installed “Combat Arms” files to ensure that all players use the same game files. Because of the emphasis placed on anti-cheating measures by the game’s developer, the game will not load until you correct this error.
File Corruption
Bad sectors, viruses, malware and other damage to your system may cause file corruption that affects the Ltmsg.dll file. This prevents the “HackShield” program from recognizing the file as valid, and causes the error. You may completely uninstall and reinstall “Combat Arms” to attempt to fix this problem. If this is a hardware issue, reinstalling the game on the same drive may only temporarily fix the problem if the drive fails in the near future.
Software Conflicts
Software that installs its own driver known as Ltmsg.dll may overwrite the file used by “Combat Arms.” Players suspect some Logitech and Windows-based messaging services of using the same file name and causing confusion for the “HackShield” programs. Uninstalling any hardware or software that uses a similar file for its drivers and reinstalling the game should alleviate this problem. You should also deactivate automatic updating of related services; otherwise, the services may overwrite the file at a later time.
Additional Information
This error appears only when file corruption or replacement occurs. Reinstalling the game and disabling services should help to fix the problem. Should these methods fail, you may need to contact Nexon customer support for additional information. Use the link provided in your Nexon account to open a technical support ticket for further assistance with this and related errors.
