How to Disable Windows Security in the Start Menu
Disable Windows Security
1. Click on the 'Start' button at the bottom left-hand corner of your desktop screen.
2. Click 'Control Panel' on the right side of the menu.
3. Click 'Administrator Tools,' then double-click on 'Services.'
4. Click on the service named 'Security Center.' Then, right-click on 'Security Center' and choose 'Properties.'
5. Select the 'General' tab from the 'Properties' menu. Look to the right of 'Startup type:' and click on the drop-down menu. Select 'Disabled' from the drop-down menu.
6. Click 'Stop' under 'Service Status:' to immediately disable Windows Security.
Remove Windows Security from the Start Menu
7. Open your computer's 'Group Policy.'
8. Select 'Computer Configuration' > 'Administrative Templates.'
9. Select 'Windows Components' > 'Terminal Services.'
10. Double-click on 'Remove Windows Security Item from Start Menu.'
11. Click 'Enabled,' and then click 'OK' to save the changes.
