The Windows Installer Error 1606 Could Not Access the Network Location in WordPerfect Office X4

1. Install the latest version of the Windows Installer if you use Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT 4.0 (see Resources). If you use Windows 2000, Windows XP or later, skip this step.
2. Navigate to the Microsoft Download Center (see Resources) and download 'Office 2000 Service Release 1a (SR-1a).' Click the 'Download' button and select 'Save' when prompted. Choose a secured location to save the file 'o2ksr1a.exe.'
3. Double-click the file 'o2ksr1a.exe' after the download is complete.
4. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete installation. Click 'Finish' when prompted.
5. Reboot the computer to end the task.
