How to Turn off Bing Search in Internet Explorer 8

1. Open Internet Explorer 8.
2. Click the arrow located on the far-right portion of Bing Search. A menu appears.
3. Select 'Manage Search Providers.' A window appears.
4. Right-click the 'Bing' icon in the center of the window. A menu appears.
5. Click 'Disable Suggestions' inside the menu. Bing Search is turned off. Proceed to the next step to remove Bing Search or stop here if you are keeping it installed.
6. Right-click the 'Bing' icon once more. Choose 'Remove.' Bing Search is removed.
7. Click 'Close' in the bottom of the 'Manage Search Providers' window to close the window.
