How to Troubleshoot a Cruzer Mini
1. Insert the Cruzer Mini into an available USB port on the computer. Wait 15 to 30 seconds.
2. Click the 'Removable Devices' icon next to the clock in the lower-right corner.
3. Look for a device or drive letter representing the Cruzer Mini. If it does not appear, unplug the Cruzer Mini and try a different USB port until it appears under the 'Removable Devices' icon.
4. Click the 'Start' button in the lower-left corner. Right-click 'Computer' and click 'Manage.'
5. Click 'Disk Management.'
6. Check to be sure the disk representing the Cruzer Mini, which will most likely be 'Disk 1' or 'Disk 2,' has either a FAT, FAT32 or NTFS volume on it and a drive letter assigned to it.
7. Create a new volume by right-clicking the black area labelled 'Unallocated' and clicking 'New Simple Volume.' Click 'Next' four times, then click 'Finish.'
8. Assign a drive letter to the volume by right-clicking on the volume and click 'Change Drive Letter and Paths.' Click 'Add' and choose an available drive letter.
