How to Make a Windows XP Automated System Recovery Disk

1. Turn on your computer and wait for it to start up.
2. Click on the “Start” button at the bottom left corner of your screen.
3. Select the accessories folder for whoever manufactured your computer. For example, if you have a Dell computer it will be named “Dell Accessories.”
4. Click on the “OS Recovery CD” program and read and confirm the licensing agreement.
5. Click on the “Next” button and enter the first blank CD in to your CD tray; this will begin the recovery process. You will be prompted to enter more disks as each one is filled with data. Once this process is complete you will see a “congratulations” message on your screen,
6. Remove the last CD from your CD-ROM and click the “Finish” button.
