How to Make a Bootable ISO Image of Whole Installed Windows
1. Insert your backup DVD into the drive, if you choose to store your backup to a DVD disc. Click the Windows 'Start' button and type 'backup' into the search text box.
2. Click the 'Backup and Restore' shortcut to open the wizard. In the first window, select a location where you want to store the backup. If you chose a DVD, click the 'DVD Drive' option. Otherwise, enter the secondary drive location. For instance, if you want to store the backup to your 'D' drive, type 'd:\' into the text box. Click 'Next.'
3. Select 'Let me choose' from the options on the next window. This lets you choose the partitions you back up to the drive or DVD. Click 'Next.' On the next window, check the box next to the hard drive that contains your Windows installation. Check the box labeled 'Create a system image' and click 'Next.'
4. Click 'Back up now' to start the ISO image creation. The file is created and it is stored to your desired location.
