How to Install an Epson Stylus C88 Series M Printer

1. Connect the AC power cord to the Epson Stylus C88 printer and power it on. Open the front of the printer and wait for the print cartridge carriers to slide to the middle.
2. Open the print cartridges and remove any packaging materials used in shipment. The print cartridges will have a piece of clear plastic tape on the bottom---be sure to remove this tape before putting the cartridges in the printer. Insert the print cartridges into the printer and close the cover.
3. Load paper into the paper tray. Be careful not to over-fill the tray. Overfilling the tray can cause the pages to stick together, resulting in a paper jam.
4. Insert the software CD that came with your Epson Stylus C88 printer. Verify the model number of your printer and complete the installation.
5. Attach the printer cable only when prompted by the software. Do not attach the cable until the software has been installed. Be sure that the printer cable is firmly seated into the printer and the computer.
