How to Fix a Parse Error Code With a HP Printer

1. Disconnect your HP printer by unplugging the USB cable from the back of your computer.
2. Insert the HP installation CD into the optical drive on your computer. Click the Windows 'Start' menu and select 'Computer' or 'My Computer.'
3. Right-click the optical drive icon and choose 'Explore.' Double-click to open the 'util' directory and then open the 'ccc' directory.
4. Double-click to run 'Uninstaller_L1.' Follow the on-screen prompts to run the uninstall wizard. Repeat this step by running 'Uninstall_L2,' 'Uninstaller_L3,' and 'Uninstaller_L4.' Close all open windows when finished and remove the CD from your optical drive.
5. Click the 'Start' menu and choose 'Control Panel.' Click 'Programs' and then click 'Programs and Features.' Click 'Uninstall a Program.' Click on any remaining HP software entries that were not removed by the uninstall wizard in Step 4. Click 'Remove.' Follow the on-screen instructions to remove the HP programs.
6. Click 'Start' and choose 'Computer.' Browse to the 'Program Files' folder and delete the 'HP' and 'Hewlett-Packard' folders.
7. Double-click the 'Common Files' folder (from within the 'Program Files' folder) and delete the 'HP' and 'Hewlett-Packard' folders.
8. Click 'Start' and type '%temp%' (without quotes) in the search box. Press the 'Enter' key. Click the 'Organize' button and choose 'Select All.' Press the 'Del' key and click 'OK' to delete the files from the temporary files folder.
9. Restart your computer and wait for the operating system to boot up completely.
10. Reconnect the USB cable from the HP printer to your computer. Turn on the printer, if necessary.
11. Insert the HP installation CD into your optical drive and wait for the CD to auto-play. Click the 'Install' or 'Next' button.
12. Install the HP software suite, including the 'HP Solution Center' program, from the installation CD by following the on-screen prompts. Click 'Finish' when the software installation is complete.
13. Reboot your computer. Double-click the 'HP Solution Center' shortcut on your desktop to launch the 'HP Solution Center' program.
