How to Change the Color Scheme in Windows XP

1. Minus all applications or press the 'Windows' key, next to Alt key, and D at the same time, so you are able to view your desktop.
2.
Right-click on any blank spot on the desktop, and select 'Properties'.
3.
Select the 'Appearance' tab, the green arrow, and click the drop-down arrow labeled 'Color scheme:' Choose a scheme and click 'OK'. The scheme is now changed.
4.
Click 'Advanced', the red arrow, to change individual colors or fonts. Follow the same steps as 1-3 to see how they look.
