How to do a Screen Capture in Windows 7
1. Click on the 'Start' button and select 'All Programs,' 'Accessories' and 'Snipping Tool.' Or type in 'snipping tool' in the Start menu's 'Search programs and files' text box.
2. Click on 'New. Draw a square around the part of the screen you want to capture. Once you're done, the captured image will appear in a snipping tool window. From here you can save the image.
3. Access other options by clicking the arrow next to 'New' and choose how you want to select what you will capture. The choices are free-form, which allows you to capture any shape; rectangular, which lets you draw a box around what you want to capture; window capture, which captures a window; and full screen, which captures your full screen.
