How to Change IP Address in Windows 7
1. Click the 'Start' menu, type 'network and sharing center' into the search field and press 'Enter.'
2. Click 'Change adapter settings,' then right-click on your network adapter and click 'Properties.'
3. Click 'Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)' and click 'Properties.'
4. Select 'Use the following IP address' and type in the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway that you have been provided, along with the preferred and alternate DNS server IP addresses. This information is unique to your computer, and is provided by your network administrator or ISP.
5. Click 'OK' to apply the changes.
