How to Back Up Skype Chat Logs in Windows 7

1. Click the Windows orb, and type '%Appdata%' into the search box at the bottom of the 'Start' menu and press 'Enter.'
2. Double-click the 'Skype' folder in the 'Roaming' folder window that appears.
3. Right-click the folder with the name of your Skype account in the Skype folder window and click 'Copy.' For example, if your Skype account's name is 'User,' right-click the 'User' folder and click 'Copy.'
4. Navigate to the location to which you want to save the Skype chat logs. If you want to back up the chat logs to removable media such as a USB flash drive, insert it into your computer.
5. Right-click in the back up location and click 'Paste.'
