How to Install MS Java VM for Microsoft Windows XP Sp2

1. Download Java VM for Windows XP (see Resources). If you want to use the online download, choose the first download option under 'Windows.' If you want to save the file to install later, choose the second download option under 'Windows.'
2. Close all running programs and browser windows. These can conflict with the installation.
3. Double-click the file you just downloaded to begin the installation wizard.
4. Press 'Accept' to agree to the license agreement.
5. Choose which third party software to install, if any. Check the boxes next to the software name to install. Uncheck the boxes to prevent third party software installation. Press 'Next' after each third party software screen to save your choice and continue. You don't have to install any third party software for the Java VM to work correctly.
6. Allow the installer to complete the installation. Click 'Finish' when prompted.
